Glider Connection tries to keep shipping costs down to a minimum. We will ship any size order. There is no minimum price. The cost of shipping is determined by the weight of the items that are purchased. We also try to ship via the least expensive method, which at present is the United States Postal Service in most cases. However, for the heavier items, such as cages and bulk orders to breeders, we use United Parcel Service.

BACK ORDERS. Most items are in stock and will be shipped within four to eight hours after payment is received. Unfortunately, on occasion an item may become sold out. Since we deal with a large number of suppliers, back ordered items can usually be shipped to you within 14 days from the time that you placed your order. If we believe that an order will be delayed for a longer period of time, we will contact you or refund you for that particular sold out item.

DELIVERY CONFIRMATION. Glider Connection and its owners are not responsible for items lost or damaged in the mail. Although insurance is optional, we recommend that you request that your order be insured for an additional 2 dollar fee. That way, if your order is damaged or lost in transit, you may complete Form 1000 at your local Post Office in order to file an insurance claim for your damaged or lost property. We use USPS Delivery Confirmation for each package shipped within the U.S. in order to guarantee to you that the Post Office has recieved your package from us. But once it leaves our building, we have no control over what the Post Office does, so PLEASE get your purchase insured if you feel it is necessary. Simply request insurance when you place your Glider Connection order, and we will take care of the rest. For questions regarding your postal service, delivery confirmation, or postal insurance you may also contact the United States Postal Service for help.

RETURNS. We want you to be happy with your purchase. All UNUSED and UNOPENED in-stock merchandise may be returned to Glider Connection within 15 days of delivery by contacting us for return instructions. This excludes live feed, videos and books. We will refund your credit card or issue a refund check, minus the original shipping and handling fees. If the product is being returned due to a manufacturing defect or an error on our part, we will absorb the shipping charges in most cases. No returns are accepted after the 15 day period. Glider Connection is not responsible for returned items lost in transit. We suggest you purchase Delivery Confirmation from your post office, for your protection.
